With the 2020 Spring Arts & Crafts Festival only one week away from the current Lake Lure stay at home in place, for the safety and health of our volunteers, vendors and patrons, the 2020 Lake Lure Arts & Crafts Festival has been CANCELLED.  Given the uncertainty surrounding the virus, this was necessary.

This was a very difficult decision for us to make.  The Festivals have been in continuous operation for over 30 years. This is the single biggest fundraiser for Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach, the Food Pantry that sponsors the Festivals.  We will have a hard time replacing this lost income, but again, for the safety of volunteers, vendors, and patrons, this was the right decision.  Postponing the Spring Festival was not an option, given many other conflicts.
