The Friends of the Mountains Branch Library host another Books & Bites event at the Lake Lure Inn, featuring best-selling author, Lisa Wingate. Wingate will be reading from and discussing her latest book, "Before We Were Yours". This fictional account of one of America's most notorious scandals is the story of Georgia Tann, director of a Memphis-based adoption organization, who was responsible for kidnapping and selling poor children to wealthy families all over the country.
