Conserving Carolina needs volunteers to help restore a natural habitat and protect rare plants and wildlife by removing non-native, invasive plants and maintaining an important meadow habitat in Florence Nature Preserve. 

 

Volunteers must have ability to hike about one moderate mile and to bend over. We will teach invasive plant ID and herbicide safety. Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and bring water, snacks, and lunch.
