    2022 Dirty Dancing Festival at Lake Lure
    Event Description:
    The Dirty Dancing Festival was founded in 2010 in the beautiful town of Lake Lure North Carolina, where much of the classic film Dirty Dancing was filmed. 
    This year''s festival will be a spectacular ONE-DAY event filled with great music, dancing, activities, food and artisan vendors, the infamous Lake Lift Competition, and much more!

    The 2022 Festival will take place in Keeter Field, next to the 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa where Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey stayed during filming in Lake Lure.
    Date/Time Information:
    The ONE-DAY Festival will open at 11 AM on Saturday, Sept. 10th, 2022 and will conclude with an "under the stars" free showing of the iconic movie, Dirty Dancing.
