    Did you know that portions of the Park that have trees over 200 years old? Many of these trees can’t be seen unless you happen to know right where to look. Join us and go off-the-beaten-path to discover some of the special sights you can only see with a guide. This moderate hike is a wonderful way to learn more about native tree species and characteristics of these often-unseen old growth areas. Space is limited to 15, and advance registration is required, so call 800-277-9611 today to reserve your spot! The Old Growth Forest Hike is part of our Naturalist Niche series. Join an expert naturalist on park trails once a month March - December to learn about birding, old growth trees, ancient geology and other fascinating outdoor topics.
