The Chamber of Hickory Nut Gorge is happy to announce that we are again partnering with Rutherford BARN to bring the Farmer's Market to Lake Lure!

Here's what you need to know:

• WHEN: The market will be open May 5th - October 27th, 2023
• TIME: Market days are Fridays, from 4-7pm
• NEW LOCATION! Morse Park
• VENDORS: Local farmers and hand-craft artisans ONLY
• EXTRA aLUREing: Each week, we will feature Live Entertainment and a Food Truck
• STAY INFORMED: We will provide more information here, on our Facebook page, and in the Chamber's Friday Members' Newsletter.

We are still accepting applications for the 2023 season so if you are a local farmer or hand-craft artisan, please complete an application, located HERE. 

2022 was an AMAZING kickoff year and we're expecting the market to grow even bigger and better this year! 

We look forward to highlighting the wonderful farmers and artisans in our area, while providing the community with an enjoyable, "Funtime Friday" activity for the whole family.

• Vendor fees are $12/day, $260 for the 2023 season
• Vendor members must be residents of Rutherford County, reside within a 50-mile radius of Lake Lure, NC, or in an adjacent county.
• All necessary certificates must be made available for review by the Market Manager
• Crafts including art objects and needle-work must be handmade. No products from pre-made kits and no sales of kits are permitted.
• Potted plants, vegetable, herb, or fruit plants, and shubbery must be grown locally with prior approval by the Market Manager.
