Legends on the Lake Restaurant to bring Fresh Family Casual Dining to Rumbling Bald Resort and Lake Lure.

Rumbling Bald Resort is excited to introduce Legends on the Lake, a full service, family-friendly, lakeside restaurant to Lake Lure’s culinary scene. Taking the helm at the Legends on the Lake are Rumbling Bald’s Director of Food and Beverage Adam Shirah and Executive Chef Tim Cacia. Together, they are in the final stages of designing a menu that, in Shirah’s words, “will feature something fresh and innovative for everyone.”

Formally trained at Cordon Bleu, Chef Cacia’s touch informs every dish served, from house-made salad dressings and sausages, to his emphasis on finding the best purveyors for fresh produce, seafood and the highest quality meats. In addition the inspired menu features crisp colorful salads, creative sandwiches and decadent desserts! One of Chef’s core offerings is specialty pizzas with house-made dough and sauces and always fresh ingredients, Cacia notes that his plans for the build-your-own pizza menu are extensive: “if a guest can dream it, we will build it for them.” Chef is also creating a range of signature dishes with an eye to the Rumbling Bald and Lake Lure communities, envisioning dishes that will become favorites and will spark life-long memories of that something special, which can only be found at Legends on the Lake at Rumbling Bald Resort!

Shirah, who hails from TPC Sawgrass in Florida and most recently Linville Ridge in Linville Falls, NC, describes Legends on the Lake’s atmosphere as comfortable and casual, “we all want our patrons to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and still have a unique culinary experience.” The restaurant also features an attached billiards room and movie theater, making it a perfect retreat for rainy days at the lake. There are plans for future expansions, including Trivia Nights, 9 Ball Tournaments, and family games like Ping-Pong to create a comfortable setting for all ages and the whole family. Whether guests are simply looking to enjoy a beer as they watch a game, a romantic evening of sophisticated-dining or grab lunch before heading back out to the water, Legends on the Lake is designed to delight the diner. Shirah also has plans to provide direct access from the lake via Legends’ docks.

Legends on the Lake provides a dining experience that allows fresh flavors to shine through creating delicious dishes served in a stylishly relaxed and fun setting that is meant to enhance the dining landscape of both Rumbling Bald Resort and the Lake Lure area. Legends on the Lake is scheduled to open in mid-March and looks forward to becoming an integral part of the Lake Lure community.
